How to Install WordPress with One Click via Pagoda Server Control Panel

Installing WordPress manually requires multiple steps, and the one-click installation feature provided by Pagoda Panel can dramatically simplify the process, allowing special novices to do everything from environment configuration to program installation in minutes. For newbies, this is the quickest and least error-prone way to install.

Step 1: Check and install the necessary web environment

Pagoda One Click Installation of WordPress requires that a web environment (Nginx/Apache, PHP, MySQL) is already installed on the server, if it is not already installed, please follow the steps below:

1. After logging into the Pagoda Panel, the system will automatically pop up the "Environment Installation" recommendation window.
2. Choose "LNMP" or "LAMP" package (recommended for newbies, i.e. Nginx+MySQL+PHP).
3. PHP version 7.4 or 8.0 is recommended (for best compatibility with the latest new version of WordPress).
4. Click "One-Click Installation" and wait for the environment installation to complete (usually takes 10-20 minutes, the panel will show the progress).

Step 2: Install WordPress via One-Click Deployment

1. After the environment is installed, click "Software Store" on the left menu and enter "WordPress" in the search box.
2. Find "WordPress" in the search results and click the "One Click Deploy" button on the right.
3. In the deployment pop-up window, fill in the following information:
   • domain name: Enter your domain name (e.g.example.com), or you can fill in the server IP (format:123.45.67.89）。comprehensive database：
     • Database name: This is automatically generated by default (e.g.wp_example), which can also be customized. Username: default is the same as the database name, it is recommended to keep the default. Password: Click "Randomize" andRecord Now(to be used for subsequent logins to the database and WordPress).

Step 3: Wait for installation to complete and record key information

1. The installation process will take 1-3 minutes and the panel will show a progress bar.
2. Once the installation is complete, a "Deployment Successful" prompt will pop up, containing the following key information.Be sure to take a screenshot or record：

Step 4: Visit the website and log in to the backend

1. Open your browser, enter "Website Address", you can see the WordPress default homepage, it means the installation is successful.
2. Visit the "Back Office Address" (域名/wp-admin), enter the administrator account and password of record and log in to the backend.
3. After logging in for the first time, it is recommended to change the administrator password immediately (click "Users" → "Profile" → "New Password" on the left).
