Step 1: Check and install the necessary web environment
Pagoda One Click Installation of WordPress requires that a web environment (Nginx/Apache, PHP, MySQL) is already installed on the server, if it is not already installed, please follow the steps below:
- After logging into the Pagoda Panel, the system will automatically pop up the "Environment Installation" recommendation window.
- Choose "LNMP" or "LAMP" package (recommended for newbies, i.e. Nginx+MySQL+PHP).
- PHP version 7.4 or 8.0 is recommended (for best compatibility with the latest new version of WordPress).
- Click "One-Click Installation" and wait for the environment installation to complete (usually takes 10-20 minutes, the panel will show the progress).

Step 2: Install WordPress via One-Click Deployment

- After the environment is installed, click "Software Store" on the left menu and enter "WordPress" in the search box.
- Find "WordPress" in the search results and click the "One Click Deploy" button on the right.

Step 3: Wait for installation to complete and record key information

Step 4: Visit the website and log in to the backend
- Open your browser, enter "Website Address", you can see the WordPress default homepage, it means the installation is successful.

Frequently Asked Questions

- Reason: A necessary PHP extension or component is missing.
- Solution: Find the installed PHP in the "Software Store", click "Settings" → "Install Extension", and install it.
